September Wrap Up
Hey book lovers!
In September, I read 7 books, 3 of them were audiobooks. I’m a little disappointed in how much I was able to read this month but I did a read a really amazing book called Crown of Oblivion, which gave me a bit of a reading hangover so it was harder for me to get into the next book I was reading easily. I was able to surpass my summer reading challenge, see below!
In September, I also fully completed my 2019 reading challenge. At the end of the month, I finished off with reading 76 of the 70 books that I wanted to read this year. Now I can just focus on enjoying myself reading (what I’ve been doing most of the time anyway). I’m so excited to see how many books I end up reading throughout the entire year. It makes me optimistic of being able to read 100 books in 2020.

Summer Reading Challenge
Every year I create a summer reading challenge for myself. This year, I decided to focus on 4 categories, which I will list below. I wanted to read a total of 20 books from June 21 to September 21, and I am so pleased to say that I managed to read 33 books!
Listen to 10 audiobooks
Throughout the summer, I was able to read 15 audiobooks! Audiobooks have truly helped me reach my 2019 reading goals. I can’t wait to see how many I’ve read throughout 2019.
Finish reading 10 books
I almost doubled my summer reading goal by reading 18 physical books. I didn’t do any e-reading this month, although I definitely want to dive back into it so I can read some manuscripts for my job.
Read a book that I’ve been putting off reading
I’ve been procrastinating reading The Shatter Me series by Tahereh Mafi. I’m so glad that I started to read it because I love dystopian worlds and I’m so excited to read more of the books from the series.
Participate in a readathon
This summer, I participated in the N.E.W.T.s Magical Readathon which I talked about in my August wrap up.
Kingdom of Souls Movie Deal
A few weeks, Epic Reads announced that Michael B. Jordan will be producing the film adaptation for Kingdom of Souls by Rena Barron.
